Notice of Updated Terms of Service & Addendum to All Existing Contracts

We're all a bit distracted right now.

It's refreshing to see companies of all stripes taking a stand against terrorism and the insurrection of those who seek to overturn our fair and free election. I hope we have always shared these tenets.

While our Terms and Contracts have always included provisions that all content be "legal," we've updated our Terms of Service and Contracts with, among others the following specification:

"You represent, warrant, and agree that Client Content shall not (a) infringe, misappropriate, or violate any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, confidentiality, moral, or privacy right, or any other proprietary or intellectual property right; (b) violate or promote the violation of any law; (c) be defamatory, fraudulent, false, misleading, or deceptive; (d) constitute spam, phishing attempts, “chain letters”, “pyramid schemes”, or similar unethical marketing or advertising; (e) be pornographic, vulgar, exploitative of children, or otherwise obscene; (f) include sex/adult-themed products, services, or other material; or (g) promote violence, discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment, or harm against any individual or group."

Emphasis on that last part.

I feel I should note: we aren't updating this to address any current conduct or content from our clients, and we hope to never need to reference it. But it's good to have these things out there.

These terms also apply to any active hosting or maintenance contracts.
